By Request, ‘And Evening Prayer’

It’s not evening yet, but it’s never too early for a prayer.

Requested by Erlene, sung by Carroll Roberson: An Evening Prayer. And let’s send up a few prayers for Erlene, who’s in need of them of late. Well, we all can use them, can’t we?

  1. Thank you for the post. This one brings me to tears every time. The words are serious ones for us to consider. I thank God for the verse I John 1:9 to think about often as we examine ourselves. There is none perfect, and we need to remember that.

  2. Too bad those who say they identify as Christians don’t consider praying serious business in the sense, we are to pray without ceasing. I know far too many who use Salvation as fire insurance instead of dying to self and living to Jesus.
