Oh for Pity’s Sake!

Man, I thought I’d never have to see this [censored] again, once I’d finished high school. And for a few decades, this was true.

But now Donald Trump is president, the man’s a philistine, he don’t like art–and he should leave Kennedy Center alone! And PBS, too! He don’t want to spend public money on this stuff anymore. Like there was ever any better use for pubic money!

But no! He wants Kennedy Center to put on the kind of shows he likes! Jugglers, maybe.

Well ha-ha-ha, Mishter Trump, the joak it is on you!! We are coming after you with INTERPRETIVE DANCE! Stick that in your bong and smoke it! Interpretive Dance will clean out your head! You will try to hide but you aint gonna do it–nobody hides from interpretive dance!

Itll drive you out of the White House and then Kamalalala she can be president  and we can go back to protesting Other Stuff.

[Editor’s Note: This is not a satire or a parody, and the video is genuine… Heaven help us.]

  1. I consider myself a tough guy. I’ve killed rattlesnakes whom were trying their best to kill me. I’ve never killed me a bear, but the day ain’t over yet. 🙂 Interpretive dance, however, even a tough guy knows when he’s met his match. 🙂

These people have become ridiculous. They are apparently foolish enough to think that they are accomplishing something with their petty rituals. And that’s all this is. If you think about it, many rituals are just a way to keep busy, until something finally happens. So, go ahead folks; knock yourself out, and dance like nobody’s watching, because no one who has a job actually is watching. Productive people don’t need to perform rituals while they wait for something to happen, because productive people actually work to make things happen.

    1. There are many people living in a fantasy world, where nonsense such as interpretive dance is considered to be important. I live in world that walks past something like this without a second glance.

  2. That dance reminds me of what the 850 priests of Baal and Asherah did, just before judgment fell upon them. Elijah the prophet had appointed a day for Israel to gather together and stated this: “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him” (I Kings 18:21).

On the appointed day, Elijah outlined how the events of the day would unfold. Wood and two bulls, one for the priests of Baal and one for Elijah, would be placed upon an altar and offered as a sacrifice. No fire would be lit under either offering. Baal’s priests would proceed first to call upon their god. He then told the people “the god who answers by fire, he is God”(I Kings 18:24). Baal’s prophets tried all morning to summon their god, to no avail. At noon, Elijah the prophet began to taunt the priests of Baal and Asherah. He asked them: “Is your god sleeping or on a long journey? Or perhaps he is defecating, or maybe he is busy or in such deep thought that he cannot hear you.” “Shout louder,” Elijah sneered. They did as he suggested and began to shout louder and continue their frantic gesticulations and strange behaviors.

While they called on the name of their god, they made hideous cries as they leaped upon the altar they had made. Morning till noon they shouted, while slashing themselves and one another with swords and spears until their blood flowed. Midday passed, and still no answer came, so they continued to dance violently around the altar. It was nearing the time for the evening sacrifice. Weary and exhausted, they ceased their useless antics.

There were no wild hideous cries nor leaping in that video. But I have seen many such antics, lies, and evil deeds from the followers of Baal, aka democrats, which truly deserve the kind of mocking Elijah did (Men winning a gold medal in a woman’s event).

Our God is not sleeping. He has shown great mercy upon the USA, and I believe He allowed Donald Trump one more term as president. The good things Trump has already accomplished is amazing, so fast.

Let’s not squander the next four years. It’s time for Christians to humble themselves and pray and seek the face of God. Turn from our wicked ways. And pray that God would destroy, wipe away, and remove from any place of authority or position of power, those who worship Baal may hold. And may the godly take their place. – Elder Mike

    1. Great post, Mike.

Years ago, there were conservatives and liberals, but I think that you nailed it; this has become modern Baal worship. A number of years ago, a friend in I both attended a denomination which had been quite devout, but then began to change. As my friend expressed it, they would worship Yahweh for a while, then worship Baal, in this case, Baal came in the form of the church hierarchy, who had come to be seen as infallible in the eyes of many members. Needless to say, we both made tracks outta there once we saw that happening.

Nowadays, the Left has become all about the ritual, and honoring all the buzzwords. Not long ago, I heard of an internal memo at the FAA where they made a goal to hire people with mental problems. What?! Aviation is a high stress environment where decisions can have a life or death effects. At every level, there’s no room for error and while I support compassion for persons with mental problems, aviation is not a good career choice for someone who is struggling mentally.

Placing someone unsuited for the job in a position of this nature does no one a favor. Coworkers are affected, the person inappropriately placed in the job will be under undue stress and will have no future career path, because they are unlikely to excel at their work and progress in their skills.

But in the mimetic world of Baal worship, the ritual is what matters most, and they will keep up their hideous cries and their violent dancing, because that is how they worship. This is the modern equivalent of Baal worship, which at its root is Satan worship. The point of all such false worship is to keep people from worshiping the Creator.

    2. In the final analysis, worship is either given to the Creator, or to Satan and his minions. Satan is a master at rebranding and he has used any number of guises to deceive humans away from worshipping the One True God. In early times, people considered natural forces to be gods. They worshipped the sun, the rain, and sought to appease storm gods in hopes of preventing catastrophic weather.

Baal basically means Lord, so Baal could be made to fit whatever the current situation called for. It strikes me as quite interesting that a replica of the arch of the temple of Baal from Palmyra, Syria was making the rounds, and it was proposed to display this prominently in London and New York. As I recall, there was pushback, so I don’t recall how it all turned out, but to display a monument to Baal worship in our day tells me that in the world of false worship, little has changed over the ages.

The spirits in rebellion to our Creator haven’t changed. The same wicked spirits that existed in antiquity are still in operation today, and they crave the same worship that they have always craved. So rebranding to suit today’s notions is hardly a surprise.
