It’s been a while since I posted this video. I’ve always liked it. Mammals do have an instinct for play. Really, I don’t imagine an armadillo needs to perfect its hunting skills by pouncing on a little plastic doll. Play is a gift of God. Be thankful!
And by now I’ve run out of gas for the day, and need to rest. Abdominal surgery is in my future. Not that I want to discuss it.

We used to be taught that animals were stupid, didn’t think, and had no feelings, but a lifetime of observation has put the lie to that misinformation. Animals have a lot going for them, and I’ve seen examples of imagination at work in animals, many, many times. Play is a Divine gift, and tells me that God has given generously to all of His intelligent creatures, and made it possible for them to live enjoyable lives which include happiness and times of lighthearted play.
It must have been posted a long long long time ago, for I think this is the first time I am seeing this cute video.
