I couldn’t leave you without a critter video, could I?
And this one blows me away. Crying baby comforted by cat. I’ve never seen the like of it.
Is this a glimpse of what it will be like in Christ’s Kingdom?

Aww, that’s so sweet.
The cat is really trying to help.
I had my shoulder scoped about 15 years ago and had to take it easy for a few days. My cat stayed right with me during that time, comforting me with her presence. It was a deliberate change in behavior while I was laid up.
Our cats used to do that, too. Even Buster–who was a male cat.
A well treated cat who feels secure can be very affectionate and sweet natured. Their reputation as being aloof is an oversimplification.
I was out of the house yesterday and got home late. When I got back, I got a very affectionate greeting when I got back. Cats don’t wag their tales or show the same excitement as dogs when they are happy to see you; it’s more subtle, but the greeting I got was warm. She’s on my lap, right now, keeping me company and keeping me warm.
How I miss our cats!
I imagine so. Hopefully you’ll be able to remedy the situation soon.
Currently we’re both sick, I came uncomfortably close to dying, and we can’t take care of any pets. Well, maybe crickets. But you don’t get much cuddling out of them.
Hopefully matters will improve.
The next hurdle is abdominal surgery, sometime in April. Not looking forward to it.
One day at a time, you’ll get through it. You made a lot of progress. You’re better off than you were two weeks ago.
