I’ve been too worn out today to do much of anything… but one more hymn can’t hurt. It’s been a while since I posted this one.
From deep in the heart of Texas, He Hideth My Soul–a Funny Crosby hymn brought to you by Nathan (autoharp) and Lyle (guitar), plus friends and neighbors.
It’s okay to rest when you’re feeling worn out — or maybe rousing yourself to post helps overcome the worn-out feeling of inertia? Sometimes it’s hard to know which way to go. I’m having a similar puzzle to work through, i.e., almost constantly tired but sometimes more tired after I rest than after I do chores or go shopping. Or a simple shopping trip leaves me exhausted but I have more energy the next day, while a day of rest leaves me even more tired the next day. Or vice versa in each case. I never know what’s going to work. I guess we just have to wing it and trust in the Lord, Who will always bear us up in His loving care.
Meanwhile, you and Patty are in my daily prayers.
Both of us sick today. I blame the hospital.
