That is amazing intelligence. Border Collies have long been reputed to be very smart, and probably for good reason. What I take out of this is that our Creator has made the various animals with a great deal of purpose in mind. Civilization needs dogs, and it needs cats. Where that is concerned, we need many animals, even animals many people don’t find convenient. Snakes keep the population of rodents under control, and as I mentioned yesterday, the local deer have been much less of a problem since the mountain lions discovered the neighborhood.
