Have a wonderful peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving.
More to come.

After a pretty decent start to the day, I ended up with the old energy gap later in the afternoon.
And I can’t blame the weather today, either. It was a nice sunny day.
The problem is that there is a great deal to do, and it is easy to get pulled away from one project into another. I am much more easily distracted than I used to be. It’s probably a side-effect of grief.
Will do better tomorrow.
I want to tell you all about Dobie and I in the Adirondack Wilderness.
Until then have a wonderful night.
God bless everybody

That is NOT my car by the way–it belongs to a neighbor and that picture was taken a few years ago after a big windstorm
Today went pretty smoothy overall.
Made it to the post office, did a few things on line–more to tackle here tomorrow. All in all an OK day.
Then I got a notice from Amazon telling me a package was delivered two days ago at 4 AM.
The package had never come.
I went to Amazon’s site and got a bit of a runaround.
In another e-mail they told me it will be delivered on the 19th.
No big deal, but the kind of annoyances you don’t need at the end of what was a relatively good day (everything’s kind of relative, right now).
Hope everyone has a good night.
God bless everybody

With Bell Mountain I began to write fiction in a way I’d never done before. But first I’d like to tell you about the way I used to write–a way which, after all, helped me to get four horror novels published.
I always started with a very general idea for a story. My first published novel, Lifeblood, began with the idea of a vampire coming to a suburban township in New Jersey. At the time, I was covering such townships as a newspaper reporter–and oh, boy, did I know a lot about them! “Write what you know,” and all that…

This has happened quite a few times lately.
After the lawyer visit today I came home, had lunch and had been fully prepared to go to the eye doctor this afternoon.
Well, perhaps going into intricate details of my own mortality (and planning for same) had something to do with it, but my plug was pulled. I could not have gone to the Dr. if there was a million dollar reward posted for doing it.
Bottom line, I called and cancelled and was put on the list for possible cancellations (in case one opens up before the newly-scheduled appointment).
I hope one does, because I don’t like going to crowded places during the cold and flu season.
God bless everybody

I lucked out and got an appointment with the eye doctor. You usually have to wait forever, but they had a cancellation for tomorrow. Hooray.
Of course, that means I go and vote first, then see the lawyer about the will and all of that stuff, then see the eye doctor.
It all happens on the same day, which is typical.
Please send your prayers that there is nothing bad going on.
God bless everybody.

Today might have been the least productive day of my entire life.
My ambition right now is down to zero; there is a ton of stuff to do, a load of things to be attended to in the coming week and much that I should have addressed today.
But I am totally out of gas.
I have a nice piece of steak for supper and with the fresh spinach I plan to have with it, I think the nutritional bases are covered.
But I am still tired.
I will take it easy for the remainder of the day, get to bed early and try again tomorrow.
Have a good night, all.
God bless everybody.

It looks like I have finally figured out how to post Lee’s articles from the past. It took quite a bit of figuring out, but it really looks like it is do-able now.
I will start posting the much older posts first.
The article today was relatively new, but that was just today to test-run the mechanics of actually doing the posting. That is a really awkward sentence, for which I apologize.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody

I am going to get this done, no matter what.
This is a test post, and might be all the content for today, but if I can get it posted, it’s a big step forward.
Bear with me.
I promise there will be more interesting things to come tomorrow.
God bless everybody
Patty
