We have an entry in our Christmas Carol Contest (that’s more like it!): requested by Ina, Mary’s Boy Child, by Boney M.
And we’ll have another in a few minutes.

Two requests for hymns by Boney M. on the same day, from opposite sites of the world–how unlikely is that? But such coincidences happen a lot, around here.
First, from Scotland, requested by Ina: By the Waters of Babylon. Inspired by Psalm 137.
And we have this carol contest entry from Ina in Scotland–Zion’s Daughter, sung by Boney M. If the tune seems familiar, well, it should–it’s “Hail the Conquering Hero” by Handel. But I don’t think the composer of The Messiah would mind one of his melodies being adapted for a Christmas celebration.
