You can’t go wrong with a Fanny Crosby hymn! Requested by Erlene, this is To God Be the Glory, sung by the Apostolic Christian Men’s Group. Background sets by God the Father.

We have no hymn requests this morning, so I have to rely on my own favorites. Well, you can’t go wrong with hymns by Fanny Crosby, like this one–To God Be the Glory, sung by the Apostolic Christian Men’s Group. Background sets by God the Father.
And I look out the window and it’s snowing again…
Let’s start the day with a classic Fanny Crosby hymn from 1890–He Hideth My Soul, sung by Nathan and Lyle with family and friends.
Y’know, we do take hymn requests, and we’re happy to do it: but only a few of you ever ask. Really, it’s the easiest thing in the world–just make your hymn request in a comment anywhere on the blog, and we’ll do the rest.
How about a Fanny Crosby hymn to start the day? I am Thine, O Lord, sung by the choir at the Technical University of Mombasa.
God has raised up brothers and sisters for us all over the world–and us for them.
You can’t beat this combination–a beach in Hawaii, a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, and students from Fountainview Academy to perform it: He Hideth My Soul.
As of today, I need a few dozen hymns to fill the cart with Your Favorite Hymns. So step right up, don’t be shy!
Susan asked for this, and it’s one of my favorities, too: Blessed Assurance, by Fanny Crosby–Christians have been loving it since 1873. This rendition is by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet, with God’s own handiwork for the background. As I write this, we’re having a foggy morning here–just like in the picture of fog blanketing a valley. As long as you’re not driving, you can enjoy the fog sometimes.
Let’s start our day with a hymn by Fanny Crosby–Near the Cross, sung by the Vagle Brothers.
One thing about posting all these hymns you’ve asked for: I finally learn the names of hymns I’ve heard for years and years without knowing them.
Fanny Crosby wrote somewhere between 8,000 and 9,000 hymns in her career. Blessed Assurance is one of them. I hope you like the way Alan Jackson sings it.
Please feel free to add to the list of Your Favorite Hymns. There’s no danger we’ll run out of them!
Requested by SlimJim (and I hope this is the hymn he wanted: titles can get tricky sometimes), a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, A Wonderful Savior, sung by the Harding University Concert Choir. We also know this one as He Hideth My Soul.
So I thought, “One more try, what can it hurt?>” And, behold–we have this morning’s hymn. I have no idea why it refused to post the first time.
Well, we are blessed with this–a Fanny Crosby hymn, He Hideth My Soul, performed by the kids from Fountainview Academy on a beach in Hawaii. See how the waves have carved and shaped the lava rock: our God is a very patient sculptor.
