Here’s a cat who seems to be giving his owner word for word–with some purring thrown in. Our cat Buster used to get pretty chatty. We talk to our pets all the time. Are they imitating us?

Are you spending a fortune on cat toys? Tut-tut! An empty tissue box, empty shoebox, pretty much any kind of box–that’s all you need. You provide the box, your cats will provide the fun.
This video reminds me of our cat, Buster–one of the jolliest cats who ever drew breath. Any game you wanted, he’d play it with out. He liked everyone.
Do orange cats naturally tend in that direction?
If you’ve lost your marbles… blame it on the cat–and then start looking under furniture.
I never thought to provide any of my cats with marbles, and now I wish I had. Their fun was always fun for me.
My iguana used to love to climb curtains. But he grew too big for it and one night the whole shebang came down. Even of climbing curtains.
This cat has a much better idea. You don’t have to climb the curtains to enjoy them.
Our cat Missy used to fetch pipe cleaners when I tossed them across the room–she never grew out of it. If I was still in bed, she’d wake me up to play.(Yes, Lee, you miss her! She was especially attached to me.)
Here’s a cat who does the same with stuffed toys. Is she practicing to play Santa?
There is a commercial attached to this otherwise amusing video, and I hope it doesn’t come out at your end. Once you’ve been away from commercials for a few years, you simply can’t stand them. Please let me know, if you see the ad, so that I can avoid them in the future.
Is there a mother duck around? Somehow this cat got to be the nanny to seven ducklings who follow her everywhere and then cuddle up with her for a nap.
Domestication does some funny things to animals.
Cats have this in common with humans: often they get very, very curious about things better left alone. Like balloons.
We know the balloon will pop if the cat keeps hitting or nipping it. The cat does not know that. Or does he?
Want to see some joie de vivre? Give a cat a ball of yarn. You’ll be a better person for it.
“Waddaya mean, ‘joy duh whatsit’?” Just showing off my French. It means “a ball of yarn.”
