In this game of tag, a slip-up could be fatal.
Scientists have announced that they’ve successfully tagged a nearly 14-foot-long great white shark in waters off Florida and Georgia (https://www.foxweather.com/earth-space/ocearch-track-sharks-ocean). The purpose of the tag is to allow them to track the shark’s movements over time, via radio signals.
The shark would normally be found some 40 miles offshore, a scientist confidently assured the public. “Farewell and adieu to ye fair Spanish ladies…”
