Toshiro Mifune in another kind of “debate”

This is to help you get through tonight’s, um, “presidential debate”: Donald Trump vs. Biden, CNN, the rest of the nooze networks, the deep state, and anyone else who wants to pile on.

Here are three movies which will help you understand both what is happening and what ought to happen. Movies do that rather well sometimes.

One Debate, Three Movies

Make no mistake about it: this is Donald Trump vs. the whole Far Left power class. They hate him almost as much as they hate us plebs.

The movies, of course, have happy endings. I find it hard to believe that this “debate” will have one.

‘Study’ Calls for More ‘Climate Change’ in Movies

Climate change: Weighing doom and gloom against the exchange ...

See? The public loves Climbit Change! Ask any brainless protester.

Do you feel short-changed when you go to a movie and the movie just tells you a story, without browbeating its audience about Important Woke Issues? If you do–well, help is on the way!

According to a “study” done by heaven knows who–it was led by an English professor at some collidge that I never heard of–movie audiences want much, much more Climbit Change hysteria in all kinds of movies (https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/hollywood-movies-rarely-reflect-climate-041710800.html). The “study” reports, with chagrin, that only 10% of current movies carry Climbit Change commercials.

They also talked to some guy who miraculously got a job as a “director of sustainability.” You know the public passionately wants to hear from him!

Come on, now–what good is a movie that doesn’t beat you over the head with Far Left Crazy’s favorite shibboleths? How can you even make a movie that doesn’t sound the alarm for Climbit Change? There oughta be a law. All those superheroes–and they’re just letting the climate go to pot.

Donald Trump needs to be put on trial for this. I mean, while we’re at it. Leave no tern unstoned.

Is this 99.99% pure crapola, or does Yahoo.com just do a really crummy job of reporting?

No way to tell, is there?

Do Movies Matter?

Sean Hannity

Do movies really matter? If you say “No, they’re only movies,” you may be overestimating… well, liberals. Here’s an example.

Some years ago, driving home from sword school, I was listening to Sean Hannity on the radio. This was before he went into national syndication; it was his local show for the New York market.

Hannity was chiding persons who didn’t know the words to our National Anthem. Some doofus came on and chided him back. “That’s the anthem of your country!” the caller bloviated. “You don’t know what’s important to my country!”

To prove his point, he trotted out a slew of movie trivia questions, to revel in triumph when Hannity got some of them wrong. Well, who needs America when they’ve got movies? Apparently Hollywood was this guy’s country. I am sure he takes Matrix movies very seriously indeed. Betcha anything he feels the same way about his favorite TV shows. And spends a lot of time listening to National Public Radio.

There are more ninnies in our voting public than is good for us.
