We have another hymn request from Susan–Purpose, by Justin Bieber.
What? Did you say Justin Bieber? Pop icon?
What a reach the Holy Spirit has! Yeah, we said Justin Bieber. You don’t believe it? Listen to the song. Listen! Wow.
Here’s one from Susan, that I haven’t heard before–Nothing Ever Can, Nothing Ever Will, sung by the choir at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Beautiful harmony! To make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
This’ll wake you up!
Requested by Susan–What a Beautiful Name, sung by Voices of Lee at Lee University.
Blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD…
This one almost fell through the cracks–well, I don’t want that to happen. I try to post all your hymn requests.
This one’s from Erlene (and better late than never)–Baruch haba b’shem Adonai, by Paul Wilbur.
We have this hymn request from our friend “thewhiterabbit”–Your Hand, O Lord, in Days of Old, brought to us by the Lutheran Songbird Project. The soloist is Aunee Trampe.
Here’s another hymn I’ve heard our local church bells play so often, and I’ve only just learned what it’s called
Requested by Erlene–Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory, sung by the congregation at Faith Life Church, led by Keith Moore.
The hymn shop is open to all!
Thanks to Erlene for suggesting this hymn, Because He Lives (I Can Face Tomorrow), sung by choir and congregation at Southwest Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.
There’s a lot to be said for a whole bunch of Christians singing a hymn together. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could somehow do that here, online? Invent a way to do that, somebody!
(So that’s what this hymn is called! I hear it played on church bells now and then.)
Requested by Erlene, Whispering Hope, sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford. What a voice he had! And I feel better for having heard it.
The hymn shop is always open, always ready to post the hymns you want to hear.
Requested by Erlene–A Moment of Time, sung by Carroll Roberson.
