London’s ‘Ultra Low Emission Zone’ Is Widely Hated, More Than 1,000 Cameras Have Been Vandalized – Mayor Khan Hires ‘Security’ Goons To Oppress Citizens

The guy in the skull mask is an “outside contractor” (translation: “thug”) hired by the city of London to combat residents’ resistance to “Ultra Low Emissions Zones” (ULEZ). This year alone, some 1,000 ULEZ spy cameras were vandalized or stolen.

See, they’re gonna Save The Planet by charging people extra to drive “non-compliant vehicles” instead of “smart” cars that they can’t afford and don’t want. Not surprisingly, this has generated a wave of popular hatred and frustration. So the government hires goons in skull masks to tamp it down.

Obviously! the goons are meant to intimidate the public. Hey, four or five of these thugs beat you up and land you in the hospital, what’ll you do? Sue ’em? Call the cops? You won’t be able to identify them because they’re wearing masks. “We can kill you if we want to, sucka! Remember that!”

Magna Carta, LOL… DOA.

The theme of this wretched period of history is the insatiable lust of government for power, wealth, and psychological dominance. They mean to wipe out every vestige of our freedom. May the LORD our God confound them.

 

Londoners Strike Back Against Big Brother

Let’s say you bought a new car two years ago–and suddenly you’re not allowed to drive it because the not-quite-British mayor of London has decided that you live in an “Ultra Low Emissions Zone” and you’ll incur a fine every time their shiny new cameras catch you doing it. The only kind of car they’ll let you drive is a new electric car you can’t afford.

One of these zones is a 56 square-mile swathe of suburban London, Sydenham; and here residents have vandalized or removed the spy cameras–156 out of 185 of them, some 90 percent (https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2023/08/24/just-days-before-khans-car-crackdown-goes-live-one-london-area-sees-90-per-cent-of-cameras-destroyed/).

Yes, this latest scheme to Save The Planet From Imaginary Man-Made Climbit Chainge has run into an obstacle.

Who was the Mensa candidate who decided to put up a sign with each camera, identifying it as a “traffic enforcement camera”? Well, now they know which cameras they’ll want to disable, don’t they? Which they do by cutting wires, pasting stickers over the lenses, or just plain stealing them.

They’re not only Climbit Chainge bullies ruling London; they’re stupid bullies. Why is that not the least bit surprising?

We don’t ordinarily hold with disobeying laws and destroying government property. But haven’t we been told that unjust, stupid, oppressive laws deserve civil disobedience? Didn’t we go to war against Great Britain, once upon a time, to get out from under a tyrannical government?

London’s Global Warming stooges have no one but themselves to blame for this.

Always watching, always, for the wrong kind of car!

Across the sea in London they’ve found a new way to Save The Planet and make ordinary people’s lives complicated and miserable: simply declare big swathes of the city “Ultra Low Emission Zones,” put up hundreds of cameras to spy on people, and fine them big-time for “driving the wrong kind of car” (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/08/cameras-go-punish-drivers-name-climate-change-vigilantes/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=cameras-go-punish-drivers-name-climate-change-vigilantes).

What’s the wrong kind of car? Oh, pretty much anything that you or I might be expected to own. Little fines, big fines, all kinds of fines.

So far they’ve got this covering 147 square miles with ULEZ, with plans for several hundred more. As by the wave of a magic wand, suddenly your car is the “wrong kind” and you’re up a tree. Residents are fighting back by vandalizing the cameras. They took out 96 cameras in May; more recent figures are not given.

Government, as George Washington observed, is “a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” Government is not your friend. It has become predatory, parasitic and increasingly insane. Some think of us as slaves, others as children: they do not mean us to be free.
