Cardinals and Snow

Hi, Mr. Nature here–what what goes together better than red cardinals and white snow? This video, which has the quality of a live Christmas card, is from Oklahoma.

Cardinals and snow: this is God’s stuff, and it tells us, in so many different voices, “God is nigh!” Listen: you can hear it.

The first time I saw one in person I was astounded. They are decorative in a manner that puts ANY man made object to shame. If you parked a bright red Ferrari roadster and a cardinal landed on it there would be no contest, the cardinal would look better.

Thank you for this beautiful post. Living in the northwest, I almost never see one of these gorgeous creatures. They were common in Missouri where I grew up, and I really miss them.
