Pastor Wang Yi… in bonds for Christ
In this recent Chalcedon Blog post, Mark Rushdoony introduces us to a modern-day hero of the Church–Pastor Wang Yi, imprisoned in China since Dec. 9 for his stand against rampant statism.

Pastor Wang is different because he refuses to criticize other Christians, or even to defend himself against their jabs at him. The battle, Rev. Rushdoony reminds us, is against “forces of ungodliness, not other believers.”
Not always easy to remember, is it?
Indeed, the battle is against evil, no one another.
I would find it exceptionally difficult not to criticize, say, “Clergy for Choice.” Not that there is a shortage of targets outside even the pseudo-church.
I agree with that, but IMO, that comes under battling against evil.
A Saudi prince has recently said he thinks it is alright that China’s XI has a million Muslims in concentration camps to get their thinking straightened out. And at the same time China is making alliances with Iran. Let us Bible believing Christians keep a single eye on promoting the kingdom of God on the earth. Exam Question: Is my home representing God’s kingdom on the earth?
So much for Islamic solidarity.
The enemies of the One True God will turn upon one another, as they have in the past.
