I had to write a book review for Chalcedon this afternoon, and then try to find more nooze to cover here on the blog… and I couldn’t. Just couldn’t bear to read or write another word of it.
All right, you can have one more hymn–pick one you really want to hear (I sez to myself).
Yeah. This one. Be Thou My Vision, the ancient Irish hymn. Sung here by the Lebanon County Youth Chorus, with background sets by God the Father.
He sees. He knows. Save us, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
much better than any news printed or broadcast.
Hello,
I would like to request the hymn, “Whispering Hope”.
Thank you.
First thing tomorrow, Janet.
Such a wonderful hymn! Thank you!
And it’s so old! Eighth century.
Wow! That IS old!
God’s presence is my light. – or as the Psalm puts it, “In Thy Light I see light.”
This song never gets old, and is a great “break” song that the Transcendent is there as our world is wild
If it isn’t old after 1300 years, it ain’t goin’ to get old!
Amen Lee
