May God indeed bless America, already so blessed.
My own prayer these days is “God save America.”
May the Lord defend us and avenge us.
I love the end of the last stanza of “The Star-Spangled Banner”:
“…And conquer we must when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: ‘In God is our trust.’
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
I used to belt that out in my car sometimes on my way to work.
Yes, I love that verse, too!
If a Democrat ever sang that, he or she would spontaneously combust.
This is amazing. I have been thinking of this song all morning, and remembering how we used to sing it all the time in school. Kate was always the best.
This happens a lot.
If God’s actions still apply to the nations He created, and we know they do, as He never changes, then our requirement is to repent of our turning away from Him as a nation, turn back in humility, and THEN He will bless us.
Kate Smith is the best!! She sure did a good job with that horrible organ music accompanying her.
Well, it was a hockey arena–couldn’t expect too much.
Patriotic spirit is up hearing this!
