Requested bySlimJim, and beautifully performed by a “traditional choir” somewhere–O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. And “Emmanuel,” says the Bible, means “God with us.”
We sang this for our seventh-grade Christmas concert–no longer allowed, of course.
God deliver us.
Here is a Christmas hymn I had never heard before: A Christmas Hallelujah by Caleb and Kelsey
I’ll have it tomorrow, Erlene–along with others.
I’ll have it tomorrow. Going first-class here!
Today subbing at high school I had a Study Hall class that met in the auditorium while the school orchestra played Christmas carols – and were they ever good. My class clapped when they finished. I wish all cities could be like Fort Smith, AR where freedom rings.
Thank you so much Lee!
