This hymn used to make me cry in Sunday school. Sixty-plus years later, it still brings tears.

  1. I sometimes sing this song while I’m washing my dinner dishes. It makes such a comforting end to the busy-ness and stress of the day.

    And now, after another busy day, I’m going to shut down my computer and spend the remainder of the day giving thanks for the old rugged cross and resting my old rugged body.
