Encore, ‘Hyfrydol’

Foggy, dreary, wet this morning; and no hymn requests, so I’m on my own.

How about a nice Welsh hymn? Hyfrydol, with Bryn Terfel as soloist, backed up by the Welsh National Opera Orchestra. Don’t worry if you can’t make out the lyrics; they’re in Welsh. But the music speaks for itself… and says “Amen.”

  1. Weather is the same here – not very encouraging, but hang in, for spring is coming. I suggest the song “I Asked the Lord” by Carroll.

    1. I’ll post it this morning.
I’d very much appreciate some nice snow before it’s spring again. We haven’t had any at all. Snow is ashamed to fall on New Jersey.

  2. Sure hasn’t missed us here. Most of it is finally blowing away, but there are plenty of patches left.

  3. We don’t get snow here, just lots and lots of rain during the “winter” season. Not all the roads are paved, thus, with all that rain comes mud and more mud, big puddles, huge potholes in unpaved roads (like the one in front of our place), and some flooding.

    1. I don’t think there is one within 100 miles of us. But there are volcanoes all over the Philippines. And one just erupted not long ago… Oh, I forgot to mention all the earthquakes we do experience, about once a month. For some quakes, we need to ask others, “Did you feel that?” But with many, things really get rocking and reeling in our building.

  4. One time, while we were sleeping a quake woke me up. I really thought my wife was jumping up and down on the bed.
