High-Energy Baby Goats

My editor and her brothers had four goats they raised from kids.

I wonder how you keep up with baby goats: they have an awful lot of energy. They seem playful. I hope they don’t grow out of it.

2 Dozen Baby Goats!

I don’t know how anybody counted these kids–they’re in perpetual motion. Look at all that energy! You’ve got to love these little characters. Resistance is futile.

How to Feel Like Heidi

Who doesn’t like baby goats? [Nincompoop raises hand, is escorted from theater.] If you want to feel like Heidi, spend some time with these babies. They’ll get you there; and you might not want to come back.

The ‘Citizen Kane’ of Baby Goat Videos

Does any animal have more fun than a baby goat? I believe it was Pliny the Elder who said, “Search me!” Some of us here (not me, alas) have had the pleasure of raising baby goats. Erlene and Susan spring to mind. You miss out on some things, living in the suburbs.

Sharing the Barn

We love to watch baby goats at play–and these are very little babies. Their antics attract a chicken. I don’t know what we were expecting the chicken to do. Some chickens don’t do much of anything.

Dog Makes Like a Trampoline

I don’t suppose it’d be so bad if goats didn’t have hooves… But the sleeping dog who gets jumped on by these baby goats doesn’t seem to mind. I’ve never had a baby goat jump onto me. Maybe it doesn’t hurt.

A Goat in the Family

Mother German shepherd, half-grown German shepherd puppy… and half-grown baby goat: they may be an unusual family, but they do seem happy.

I can’t help it–frolicky baby goats really charm me. I’m told, though, that they grow out of it and turn into hoofed party-poopers. I don’t know, I never had a goat. Somebody tell me it ain’t so.

Baby Goats Galore

When I was a little boy, all I knew about goats was they ate tin cans and wanted to butt you in the butt. That’s life in the suburbs.

Now I’ve seen all these cute ‘n’ cuddly baby goat videos, and I know better. Are they irresistible or what?

Baby Goats’ Pajama Party

I don’t know why these baby goats are wearing pajamas. My friend who has raised baby goats never put them in pajamas. Maybe it was just before bedtime when this video was filmed.

How tiny are these little characters? You’ll see for yourself when they meet a cat.

Boy, do they have fun! If you don’t know what joy is, never mind the dictionary–just watch these guys for a few minutes.
