This day has been just awful–and horribly hot, too. Maybe some icy video will help restore my sanity.
Here we have dogs and cats taking on icy surfaces and not faring any better than us humans. Probably you need six legs; but ice and insects don’t mix well.
If you want to jazz up life for your dogs or cats, give ’em a cardboard box. Play in it! Fight over it! Tear it apart! You’ll run out of cardboard before they run out of ideas.
This is shown from the cats’ point of view (naturally–who else’s matters?). The one dog gets a friendly greeting. The other gets the bum’s rush–and woe betide him, if those two cats catch him. Disgraceful, isn’t it?
Fie, fie, fie upon a conquered pooch! Have these dogs no shame? It’s an embarrassment to the whole dog nation. Buffaloed by cats–mixed metaphor, but you get the point. Cowed by cats. Chicken-hearted dogs, they even embarrass the chickens.
I suspect this cat mommyed this puppy before her kittens came along. I’ve known cats who wouldn’t let a dog anywhere near their kittens; but we certainly don’t see that here. More like a brief glimpse into Heaven, I’d say.
Hey, is that a headline or what? Haven’t lost my touch.
The dogs in this video ought to be ashamed of themselves, pushed around and dominated by cats. But that could be said for any number of humans, couldn’t it?
This is the sequel to last night’s critter video, which left us in some doubt as to whether the two would ever reach a meeting of the minds. We have skipped the most suspenseful parts as being unfit for a tender-hearted audience.
I don’t know how much real time is represented by this video, but it looks like more time will be needed for the dog to capture the kitten’s affection. You’ve got to give him credit for trying, though. Come on, cat, give the big guy a break!
Is this sweet, or what? If they’d played Brahms’ Lullaby to go with it, I would’ve corked off. Is the cat raising these puppies? Stranger things have happened. A cat in South Plainfield, NJ, once raised a water buffalo.
If you learn nothing else from this video, learn this: it’s useless to bark at a bug.
Also–is that some kook vacuuming while the rest of us try to hear the video?
And… do not let your dog or cat molest a wasp. It’s a guaranteed trip to the vet.
