Of course political candidates tell lies about their rivals; who ever said they didn’t?
But the lies told by Hillary Clinton about Donald Trump, in the 2016 presidential election and for years afterward, went well beyond that; and now President Trump has gotten around to suing her and her henchmen (https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/all-things-trump/trump-sued-hillary-clinton-democrats-over-russia-collusion). He’s suing for at least some $25 million in legal fees, and a lot more in damages.
Getting this story wasn’t easy. A simple search request lands you into that swamp of fake nooze inhabited by CNN, NPR, the Washington Post, et al–complete with flagrant editorializing (“Trump’s baseless allegations,” etc., etc.). Is this what they learn in journalism school, these days? I finally found a story I could use, on John Solomon’s “Just the News” site.
Clinton’s campaign, with help from sympathizers in the government itself, tried to wreck Trump’s campaign, spied on him during and after the election, cooked up false reports about him, lied to the FISA court, and wasted a dismal amount of America’s time with their “Russian collusion” hoax.
Please! The very idea that Russia would lift a finger to stop Hillary Clinton from being elected president–it’s preposterous. Ya mean Putin wouldn’t want to deal with the most corrupt, bribable woman in the Northern Hemisphere? Anything he wanted from America he could have–in return for another tax-free donation to the Clinton Foundation.
God only knows how many hundreds of D.C. small fry were sucked into this web of Clinton criminality. But that’s the Swamp. It’s dirty and it’s deep.
