We used to sing this at Y camp, of all places.
Requested by Thewhiterabbit, Go Down, Moses–and who better to sing it than Louis Armstrong?

Hello, out there! If you’d like to share a hymn, just let us know.
Would you believe it? We used to sing this song at Y Camp. Not allowed anymore, of course. They have to protect us from the Bible.
Requested by Phoebe: Go Down, Moses, sung by the immortal Louis Armstrong.
Phoebe asked for this classic spiritual, and we’re happy to oblige. Gee, I remember singing this at Y Camp sing-along–Go Down, Moses. “Down to Egypt-land… Tell old Pharaoh, Let my people go.” I think this rendition by Louis Armstrong is the most popular one. (Sorry–couldn’t find one with more verses.)
Hey, everybody–time to fill the hymn-cart again!
