By Request, ‘In the Garden’

We have a hymn request from Phoebe–In the Garden, sung by Alan Jackson.

Heavy roadwork just outside is shaking our building up and down, and I’m with you, Phoebe–I need a visit to the Garden… where Our Lord is waiting for us.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

Well, I have found some news I can cover without schkeeving, but first I have to go to the supermarket; and before that, I want to post another hymn.

Requested by Pat Spradley (welcome aboard, Pat)–In the Garden, by the Garment of Praise Quartet.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

Well, that blows the whole morning–on the phone with the IRS, mostly on hold, listening to stupid music; and the maintenance guys are now three hours late–and don’t ask me to explain why we had to talk to someone at the IRS, it’s much too complicated.

Oh. And now I’ve got to go to the bank, go to the laundry, go to the store (gee, why’s it taking you so long to get better?)… oh, fap. Looks like I won’t be climbing any mountains today.

But at least we have a hymn request, this one from Phoebe–In the Garden, sung by the Church Sisters.

‘In the Garden’ (Joshua & Jeremy)

Our dear friends and colleagues Joshua and Jeremy went out into their family’s garden to play In the Garden for us, on banjo and guitar. This 1912 hymn’s most famous line is, “And He walks with me, and He talks with me…” Maybe we can get them to sing it for us someday.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

Phoebe asked for this hymn, and that’s one of the jobs we do, so here it is–In the Garden, sung by Alan Jackson: with lyrics, too.

Consider this a sanity break. So much evil, so much madness out there…

‘In the Garden’ (Your Favorite Hymns)

Tell us your favorite hymns, and we’ll put them on the list and post them.

We continue with In the Garden, sung by Alan Jackson.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

I’m going to use up three hymn requests just now: love ’em while you’ve got ’em. Besides, we need it, don’t we?

Requested by Phoebe, In the Garden, by Alan Jackson.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

Requested by Phoebe, In the Garden. I chose this soothing rendition of it by Alan Jackson: hope you like it.

Phoebe needs a little extra prayer support just now, everybody–so please, let’s provide it. Strengthen and protect your servant, Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

‘In the Garden’

It’s been so long since I’ve heard this hymn, it was like hearing it for the first time–In the Garden, sung here by Alan Jackson.

Some of you are here almost every day, and never request a hymn. Well, the hymn shop’s open all the time; so if you have a favorite hymn you’d like to share, just let us know.

By Request, ‘In the Garden’

Both Erlene and Phoebe called for this one, so here it is–In the Garden, sung by Alan Jackson.

And now to wait for the snowstorm…
