Requested by Joshua: In the Sweet By and By, sung by Simon Khorolskiy. We didn’t know he could sing American country music style! Thank you, Joshua.

Here’s a hymn request from Erlene–In the Sweet By and By. I opted for this rendition by Joshua & Jeremy Swanson>>> because they’re our friends, we love them, and they do make beautiful music and we should encourage them.
I don’t know about you, but if I had to cover the nooze without posting any hymns, I don’t think I could do this job.
Requested by Joshua, Bird Youmans singing In the Sweet By and By. He is not actually a set of identical triplets–it’s all technological razzle-dazzle.
And oh, my! I used to know places like this… I’m sure they really existed…
I don’t know about you, but I need a sanity break. I need a hymn–and this one has moved me to tears. This is the one I wanted.
In the Sweet By and By, performed by our own dear friends and colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy Swanson–yes, this is the one I wanted. I pray it works for you, too.
Who doesn’t love this hymn? In the Sweet By and By, sung here by the Mennonite Singers, is a 19th century classic. It sometimes seems strange that a century that generated such evils as communism and Darwinism (just to name two) was also remarkable for the sweetness of its hymns.
Requested by Erlene, a beloved old hymn, In the Sweet By and By–and I chose this instrumental version by our friends and colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy. It’s really quite beautiful, what they’ve done with it.
This is the hymn that first popped into my head this morning, so this is the hymn I’ll start the blog day with–In the Sweet By and By, from 1868, by the Mennonite Singers. Background sets by God the Father.
Don’t ask me how they got the whole chorus out on the lake. It must be great acoustics out there, though: In the Sweet By and By, performed by the kids from Fountainview Academy.
That last political story left a bad taste in my mouth, but here’s an antidote–our own friends and fellow bloggers, Joshua and Jeremy, performing In the Sweet By and By. Beautiful! I feel better already. And maybe, if we cheer them on enough, they’ll sing for us someday.
TheWhiteRabbit asked for Abide With Me by Nathan and Lloyd et al, but although they had some new videos up on Youtube, they didn’t have that. So I guess the best I can do is give you first the singers you requested, and then the hymn.
