Let’s have a nice hymn from Fountainview Academy to start the day–In the Sweet By and By. Who has never longed for “that blest shore”?
And it must take more than just a little faith to stage this performance on a raft in the middle of a lake.

Well, I’m about ready for the sweet by and by, that’s for sure!
Meanwhile, we have this hymn as a very sweet instrumental by our esteemed friends and colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy. Hit it, boys! In the Sweet By and By.
Susan requested this rendition of In the Sweet By and By. I don’t know who these singers are, I don’t know where they are (is that a still of Victoria Falls, in Zambia, in the background?)–but it’s a sweet hymn, it gives glory to God, and the singers are in our Christian family.
It’s been too long since I posted anything by our dear friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy Swanson. In The Sweet By and By is a special treat because they sing it, too.
I’d try a music video, only I can’t sing and play the harmonica at the same time.
I don’t have any hymn requests today, but I happened upon this video and thought it would do very nicely–In the Sweet By and By, sung by Johnny Cash. People have been loving this hymn since 1968.
There are so many lovely versions of this hymn: here’s one by Nat King Cole, backed up by the First Church of Deliverance choir.
Requested by Erlene, In the Sweet By and By.
(And the hymn shop is now open.)
I was hoping to get some hymn requests this morning–oh, well. Maybe this will get the readers in the mood–In the Sweet By and By, sung by the kids at Fountainview Academy. If you’re really motivated, you can try to figure out how they avoided tipping over the raft.
Well, they certainly come up with some unusual settings for their hymns! A great big raft out on Seton Lake, for instance. I’m sure I neverd would’ve thought of it.
In the Sweet By and By, performed by the students at Fountainview Academy.
This was the first hymn that popped into my head today, so here it is–In the Sweet By and By, sung by the Mennonite Singers. Background sets by God the Father.
This hymn has been in my mind all morning, and I take that as a sign I ought to post it.
There are many lovely versions of it, but I like this one by our friends and colleagues, Joshua & Jeremy Swanson–In the Sweet By and By. Make sure you press the CC button at the bottom of the screen for lyrics: we haven’t yet found a way to persuade these guys to sing.
