Don’t you wish you could do the things a cat can do? Don’t you wish your cat would let you play an ordinary game of ping-pong?

Oh, bother the election! Instead, we have a little girl named Violeta sharing a kissy moment with… her owl.
Who knew owls could be this cozy? God has filled His creation with love. It only remains for us to receive it with thanksgiving.
After a brutal week of politics, I’m outta here, I’m going for God’s stuff, and I’m takin’ you with me if you want to come.
“Unknowable” recently described an encounter with a tiny baby horny-toad, or rather horned lizard, which made me want to have one, too. I love lizards, and horned lizards are so unusual. They don’t grow very large, but this baby is the smallest one I’ve ever seen.
BTW, because they eat hardly anything but live ants, horned lizards don’t make suitable pets and should be allowed to remain in the wild and loved and appreciated just where they are.
This cat’s name is Ophie, and she loves her daddy.
I don’t know how it got started, the canard (don’t you love it when you get to use a word like that?) that cats are “aloof” and only interested in you as someone who can open the can of cat food. All the cats we’ve ever had have been wonderfully affectionate.
And now it’s time to feed them!
Dogs have some pretty extraordinary reactions to some very ordinary things–like a shadow, a bug, an orange peel, or a plastic bottle. They’re smart enough so that you never quite know what they’re going to do: a dog can invent a reaction, off the top of his head, that you never saw before.
I think they do it because it’s fun.
Animals do know how to have fun! Check out the baby goat provoking the cat to chase him. It’s amazing, how agile they are. If I ever tried this on a flight of stairs, it’d be sayonara for sure. You’d think hooves without toes would make for pretty tricky footing–but not for goats. It’s all the cat can do to keep up with the kid.
Until youtube came along, who ever guessed that owls are… cuddly? I mean, who knew anybody who had a pet owl?
How did God ever think of creating these birds? The more closely you look at them, the more–well, unusual–they seem to be. Nevertheless, they can be cuddly.
This ought to settle the question, Do armadillos bathe?
So if you have a pet armadillo, be sure to provide him with bathing facilities.
This post disappeared into the void a minute ago, the first time I tried to put it up. Maybe the computer’s getting ticklish.
I’ve known a lot of ticklish cats, but the one in this video takes the cake.
Our cats, more ambitious than these, have discovered practical uses for their tails. Tails are for sweeping things off the table, preventing human beings from watch movies, and waking human beings who have fallen asleep.
Do you ever get the impression that cats are not entirely convinced that their tails are actually part of their bodies?
