Last Day for Revival?

The Christian revival at Asbury University, Kentucky, is supposed to end tomorrow, college officials have decreed.

But look at the video. Does this look like it’s ending to you? Look at the crowding–people lined up all along the street for blocks and blocks. Yeahbut…”real safety concerns…” What safety concerns? No one’s been hurt, no property’s been damaged. And people are still coming here–from as far away as Australia.

You know the Far Left Crazy hates to see this. You know they’d stamp it out, if they dared.

Pray for the revival–our country needs it! It’s a return to sanity, to decency. To life instead of death. Everything the Left is selling us is poison. Pray the revival spreads to other cities, other universities.

Jesus Christ is life. But “all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:36).

Asbury Revival: Still at Work

As you can see by the video clip, there’s no room for everybody indoors and the revival at Asbury University, Kentucky, has spilled into the rest of the campus.

Why does this make me think of the Day of Pentecost (see Acts, Chapter 2)? This is the modern era–Internet, cell phones, instant transmission of information, with the whole world watching and listening. Well, what would a modern Pentecost look like? Would it look like this?

We can’t all go to Kentucky, but surely we can be part of a revival just where we are. Through prayer, through singing and hearing of hymns, through Christian fellowship–“Every kindred, every tribe,” as the old hymn says.

God knows our country needs revival! We know it, too.

May the Holy Spirit move mightily in the land, and do great works. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Asbury Revival… and the Book of Acts

It’s been going on for over a week now, and shows no signs of letting up: a spontaneous Christian revival at Asbury University, Kentucky. People are there from all over the world.

One party that is not there is our Free & Independent Nooze Media Inc., a subsidiary of  Democrats “R” Us. There’s been some nooze coverage, but not much.

Wit you well: if this kind of response were made to some Drag Queen escapade, the media would be yapping about it 24/7.

I’m surprised CNN, MSNBC et al have not risen up in mockery. The revival seems like it would be the natural target for them.

Maybe they don’t know what to say or do.

I am reminded of Gamaliel’s advice to the Temple rulers, in Acts 5: 34-40. They were trying to decide how to suppress the apostolic church in Jerusalem, the first Christians; but Gamaliel, a man of great reputation among them, advised them to let it alone. To paraphrase: he mentioned two false prophets who came utterly to nothing, and told the rulers that if Jesus of Nazareth was just another nobody pretending to be somebody, His movement would fail and die on its own; but if not, if it were the work of God’s Spirit, then opposing and persecuting it would be to be against God Himself. “If it’s from God, you can’t stop it. And if it’s not, it will stop itself.”

We see in later chapters that the more the worldly authorities persecuted the Church, the faster and the greater it grew.

Will they interfere with what’s happening at Asbury?

We can only wait and see.

Revival Takes Off at Asbury University

[Thanks to Susan for the news tip!]

Uh… speaking of walking by faith and not by sight, there’s a huge Christian revival going on at Asbury University in Kentucky. It started with an ordinary, routine chapel service eight days ago and has been going on in high gear ever since, with no end in sight–people praying, shouting, weeping, rejoicing, all in the name of the Lord.

There are videos available that are up to seven or eight hours long. I’ve posted the Tucker Carlson video, only five minutes long, because it does give you a feel for what is happening. By now people have come from all over the world to join in.

Is the Holy Spirit here, moving among these people–most of them young–as in the Day of Pentecost?

Incidentally, the flatline nooze media have by and large refused to report this event. Why is that? If it were the world’s biggest Drag Queen brain-fart meeting, they’d be talking it up for all they were worth. But about this they’re silent.

Isaiah said, “The LORD’s hand is not shortened, that He cannot save…”

This is not a good time to have a mind closed against His work.
