A Glorious Victory

My fellow deplorables!

Yesterday we, the deplorable people of America, did what all the experts, all the pundits, and all the power brokers said was impossible. We elected Donald Trump to be our president.

How great a victory is this? Lined up solidly for Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton crime family, were every wicked pack of villains in the world! All Trump had to do, to win, was beat the Democrats, beat their massive cheating, beat the Republican establishment, the unspeakably corrupt nooze media, the dishonest polling industry, Hollywood, Big Labor, and the entire academic world from kindergarten right on up through grad school.

He owes this victory to none of them, he owes none of them anything at all. He owes this victory to the sovereign grace of God, acting through the votes, the faithfulness, of the despised and disregarded people of America. God put no one in Trump’s corner but us. He owes us, not them. I hope he can remember that.

Some of you, my friends, still have misgivings about Trump. Well, we shall see. But there would be nothing to see, nothing but the calculated ruin of our country, had Hillary Clinton won.

And so, to all you secular utopian statists, you can take your open-borders, Global Warming, transgender, Black Lives Matter, lawless, Godless, tax-crazy, free speech-killing, Muslim-coddling, Christian-baiting selves off to some other planet where you’ll be appreciated: and don’t let the door hit you in the kiester on your way out.

Because, you see, we are no longer alone. Freedom is waking up all over the world. You have boasted yourselves against the God who raised you up to carry out His purpose, and now He’s done with you.

Deplorables of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your masters.

Sanity Refill: ‘O Holy Night’

Our esteemed colleague “Jessicafischerqueen” posted this on my chess forum this morning, adding that she hopes it’s not too early in the year for this hymn.

Well, Jess, I think it was downright providential that you chose to share this with us today.

Folks, let’s not get carried away with our fears, like the scouts whom Moses sent into the Promised Land, who came back moaning about the power and might of its inhabitants. “We’re like grasshoppers, compared to them! They’re much too strong for us! We just can’t do it!” But of course it was the Canaanites who should have been afraid.

And today it’s the rich, powerful, fat-head globalists who ought to be afraid. Not us–for we serve an awesome God.

Our King is greater than Caesar. And Caesar himself was a bigger man than any of these fools who run around prattling about Global Warming. So was Sennacherib, and you know how he ended up: his mighty army wiped out in a night by plague, a humiliating retreat back the way he came, and assassination at the hands of his own sons.

They’ve got wealth, connections, power, and pride.

We’ve got a baby in a manger.

And He will prevail.
