My Newswithviews Column, May 23 (‘It’s War, All Right’)

‘No hay pan’ is “We have no bread” in Spanish: Venezuelan slang for ‘Ain’t socialism wonderful?’

Remember what Sun Tzu said, in The Art of War: “On death ground, fight.”

It’s War, All Right

Far Left Crazy means to wipe out Christian America, and won’t let up until it does. The culture war is still on, it’s deadly serious, and Christian America has to win or Christian America dies. It’s that simply.

And never mind being “winsome”!

The time for that is after we’ve won a total victory and the Democrat Party has been forever consigned to the landfill of history.

  1. What’s really scaring me is that 15 states and DC have passed legislation to give all their electoral votes to whoever has the greatest number of popular votes in the national election — regardless of the popular vote in their own states. If a few more states go this route, it will mean the end of the United States of America as the Founders established it in the Constitution. California, New York, one or two other highly populated states, and a few major metropolitan areas scattered around the country will rule the rest of the country — from the far left — and there will be no way to recover by any lawful means. Elections in flyover country will mean nothing.

I don’t usually go into panic mode, but this trend really does seem to be the beginning of the end of our Constitutional Republic. I keep remembering what my dissertation director, who knew I’d double-majored in the Classics and English as an undergraduate, once said: “Phoebe, you’re a Classicist; you know how quickly a civilization can collapse.”

Well, we don’t have to be Classicists to know this. Just look at Venezuela. Or what’s happening to Europe.

    Catacombs, anyone?

    1. Plutarch’s descriptions of the closing days of the Roman Republic make very disturbing reading.

But wouldn’t this attempt to circumvent the amendment process be wildly unconstitutional? I can’t see the Supreme Court sleeping through this.

      Pray hard.
      Work harder.
