This is the age of panic. Our entire ruling class–politicians, banks, big corporations, social media platforms, Hollywood, teachers’ unions and college professors–is stampeding to grovel before Only Black Lives Matter. They’re wiping out our culture: no more Aunt Jemima, no more Eskimo pies, no more Theodore Roosevelt statue at the American Museum of Natural History, no more history… One wonders if they mean to ban everything.
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called… (v. 26).
There’s none of them left on our side, they’ve all rushed over to the Far Left side of the boat–a good way to make it capsize. The wise, the mighty, the noble; the rich and famous, the influential: they compete with each other to see who can be the most obsequious, the most servile, the most woke.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. (verses 27-29)
So there’s no one left on our side but us. The little people, the nobodies, the deplorables. The ones they laugh at when they hunker down in Davos with overpriced cocktails. Whose only function is to pay taxes and do what we’re told.
It is well within God’s power and authority to bring this era to a close, to bring down the curtain with a crash; and when He does, it will be in such a way that no one will be able to attribute it to anyone or anything but Him. The Lord our God, strong to save.
They call the preaching of the gospel foolishness. They’d like to stamp it out.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (v. 25)
It’s going to be a bad time for those who have chosen the wrong side. Their visitation will not be infinitely postponed.

When we read through the prophets’ messages, it seems pretty obvious that things will be coming to a head soon. The things that got Israel in trouble are happening right here, right now. Our cup of iniquity is over flowing.
I agree. I believe that the nations are being pulled into the confrontation with God. It is clearly stated in scripture what to expect. We are seeing the basis of that; people whose hatred of morality is so strong, that they would gladly give up all of their personal freedom before they would even consider that they are responsible to a Creator.
This will likely culminate with Gog of Magog, the attack on God’s people by the hoards under Satanic influence. This is NOT business as usual; it is something far different from anything I’ve seen before.
We have one thing on our side that they don’t, God. Things are coming to a head and the Satanic forces would like to hasten it, but I think God will have something to say about it. I have a feeling He’s not done with America just yet. I’ve believed for awhile there will be one final harvest before He returns. I pray He keeps the forces at bay until that happens and the Church and Restrainer is removed.
That’s a good point. For some, I have watched as various mainstream religions have floundered, in many cases, burdened by tradition, instead of being liberated by scriptural truth. As to how this will happen, I wouldn’t care to speculate, but I’m certain that He will see to it that the truly faithful will move forward in knowledge, as things become critical.
It is definitely time for the church in America to awaken from its Laodicea slumber. There still is a silent majority in America. The huge problem is the Left has taken over every institution except talk radio and conservative podcasts. November 3rd election is turning out to be the choice between traditional America and Marxism/socialism. Since the GOP is the only place of power left for us, it would be nice if all our senators were like Tom Cotton.
If we lose that one, kiss America goodbye. It’s not really that difficult to wreck a country.
