RFK Jr.: “People in Authority Lie”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - Family, Career & Facts - Biography

(Thanks to Susan for the news tip)

Robert Kennedy Jr., nephew of President John F. Kennedy, son of former Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, has hit the nail right on the head.

His father told him, he says, “People in authority lie.

“If we are going to continue to live in a democracy we need to understand that people in authority lie” (https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/robert-kennedy-jr-issues-warning-on-covid-vaccine/).

Gee, ya think?

“People in authority,” he says, “will abuse every power that we relinquish to them and right now we are giving them the power to micro-manage every bit of our lives, 24 hours a day… These government agencies are orchestrating obedience and it is not democratic…”

How easily they’ve trained us to obedience! All it took was King Covid: do what you’re told, by us, or else the virus gonna kill you dead! Hence the mandates, one after another, the face masks, the restrictions on our worship services and family gatherings–Junior, you’ve hit the middle of the bullseye.

    1. Except that powerful people tsk-tsking about powerful people don’t really help the powerless people very much. What we need are real leaders who lead actual rebellions against the restrictions to the point at which the restrictions can no longer be enforced. Single individuals might rebel, as some have done in the most tyrannous cities (e.g., NYC, L.A.), but they just wind up arrested and their livelihoods destroyed. Of course, their fellow-sufferers may hold protests for a day or two, but the overlords know these kinds of protesters don’t cause any damage and eventually have to go back to work and/or take care of their families.

No, what we need are large segments of the population standing up and saying “NO!” to the lockdowns and closures and masks and other encroachments on our liberties. But who will actually organize and lead them? Who will … I was going to say “Who will bell the cat?” but it’s more like “who will kill the many-headed Hydra and then clean out the Augean stables?”
