Requested by Ina, By the Rivers of Babylon, sung by Boney M–an adaptation of Psalm 137.
It asks, “How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?” That’s a question that troubles me, sometimes. But sing it we must.

How strange … I was thinking about this song all day yesterday, and I’d thought about asking for it but somehow never got around to it. Sot thank you, Lee and Ina!
That kind of coincidence happens all the time on this here blog.
Glad you liked it Phoebe. It just came to me to ask for it. Thank you Lee.
This is a familiar Scripture and those are always good.
I really like this version. Praise the Lord!
This is a great song. About 20 years ago, I was listening to Christmas music and the DJ played Boney M’s version of “Mary’s Boy Child.” Wow, how I loved that rendition, but had no idea who sang it. I called the station and asked the DJ, “What is the name of the group who sang that song.” I bought their Christmas CD.
Thanks for this song
