‘Blessed Assurance’ (Joshua & Jeremy)

Our dear friends and colleagues Joshua and Jeremy produced this video for Father’s Day–a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, Blessed Assurance.

When we first posted these videos, Jeremy was this little guy, Joshua’s little brother. Now he’s the big guy. Seems like only yesterday, doesn’t it?

By Request, ‘Blessed Assurance’

I don’t want anybody thinking I’m going to turn into a DJ or anything like that; but I do mean to keep on posting hymns as requested.

Erlene got fed up with the nooze and asked me to post this instead–a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, Blessed Assurance, sung by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet.

By Request, ‘Blessed Assurance’

This hymn request almost slipped through my fingers–well, I’m a bit distracted, hard to concentrate.

Requested by Erlene, Blessed Assurance, a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, sung with gusto by Carroll Roberson.

I pray I can get some of that assurance.

‘Blessed Assurance’

A classic Fanny Crosby hymn, sung by Alan Jackson–not a bad start to the day.

Truly miserable weather this morning. Pray harder. Sing louder.

‘Blessed Assurance’

I hope I haven’t played this hymn too often. It was the first one that popped into my head last night–Blessed Assurance, a classic hymn by Fanny Crosby, sung by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet. Background sets by God the Father, maker of heaven and earth.

By Request, ‘Blessed Assurance’

Okay! Book chapter’s written, and I’ve got to write a Newswithviews column, somehow–but first we have a hymn request from Erlene–Blessed Assurance, by Fanny Crosby in 1873, sung by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet.

Antidote! ‘Blessed Assurance’

How do we get out of the dumpster fire that’s the nooze today?

With a hymn!

We thank Erlene for asking for this–Blessed Assurance, by Fanny Crosby, sung by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet with background sets by God the Father, maker of heaven and earth.

When things get really bad… sing louder!

‘Blessed Assurance’

You don’t often hear Blessed Assurance with a flute solo. Nathan and Lyle, with a few family members, have treated us to this cozy rendition of Fanny Crosby’s classic hymn.

‘Blessed Assurance’

Can’t go wrong with a hymn by Fanny Crosby! Blessed Assurance she wrote in 1875, and it’s still as popular as ever. Sung here by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet. Background sets by God the Father. (Credit to SE Samonte posting on YouTube: I use many of the hymns posted on his site.)

By Request, ‘Blessed Assurance’

Susan asked for this, and it’s one of my favorities, too: Blessed Assurance, by Fanny Crosby–Christians have been loving it since 1873. This rendition is by the Harpeth Gospel Quartet, with God’s own handiwork for the background. As I write this, we’re having a foggy morning here–just like in the picture of fog blanketing a valley. As long as you’re not driving, you can enjoy the fog sometimes.
