I promised a while ago to run Christmas and Easter hymns throughout the year–so here’s an Easter hymn: Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, sung by the Yoder Family. Glorious background sets by God the Father, our Creator.

To me this hymn is indispensable to any celebration of Easter–Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, by Charles Wesley–sung here by the Yoder Family. Written in the 18th century and still going strong!
Happy Easter, everybody. Christ is risen indeed.
Easter’s almost here, so let’s have an Easter hymn.
Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, by Charles Wesley, sung by the Yoder Family–oh, how many times we sang this, back in Sunday school!
Requested by SlimJim, this glorious Easter hymn by Charles Wesley–Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, sung by the Yoder Family. Nothing beats a churchful of congregants, and a choir, singing this on a sunny Easter morning!
(P.S.–Patty says the laptop’s ready. Here goes…)
It wouldn’t be Easter Sunday without this hymn–Christ the Lord Is Risen Today. We sang it in Sunday school, in church, without or without the choir; it was sort of the Easter hymn.
Sung here by the Joslin Grove Chorale Society–with lyrics if you want to sing along.
It’s not all bad today! We’ve got a new hymn performed by our friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy Swanson–Christ the Lord Is Risen Today.
Now, if we could just persuade them to sing, too… Don’t be bashful, guys–you have an audience that loves you.
Who says it’s a hymn you can only sing on Easter? Shout it from the housetops: He is risen! It is, after all, at the very heart of our faith. Christ the Lord is Risen Today, by Charles Wesley, sung by the Joslin Grove Choral Society.
Happy Easter, everybody! Jesus Christ is risen! Sin is conquered, death is undone. This is the beginning of a new Creation.
Christ the Lord is Risen Today, sung by the Yoder Family. Sing so God can hear us.
Yes, I know I posted this hymn just the other day. But Erlene requested it just now, Easter is coming, and this is surely one of the Easter hymns–Christ the Lord is Risen Today, written by Charles Wesley in 1739; sung here by the Yoder family.
With gorgeous photos of God’s handiwork, proclaiming His glory and His love, and His ever-present nearness to us.
“SlimJim” requested “anything by Steve Green,” and this was about the best I could do. Strangely, most of the Steve Green videos on youtube featured assorted pictures of him rapidly flashing across the screen. I was afraid it might give someone a seizure.
Christ the Lord is Risen Today is a hymn usually reserved for Easter. But I think we need it today–don’t you?
