Sloshing Through the Theme Park REPRINT

Obviously we need to replace the dog’s image with a human’s.

It looks like public defecation is really catching on!

First it was homeless people in our great Democrat cities. Now it’s people waiting in line for rides at Disneyland and Disneyworld (https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2023/11/07/report-people-defecating-in-line-on-disney-theme-parks/). Employees say it’s been going on for years now.

The wait time is pretty long for some of those rides (get a life!), an hour and up. Well, if you’re going to one of those parks anytime soon, better bring a pair of galoshes.

Apparently taking a dump in public has become okay. Like shoplifting. Somehow it’s Social Justice to crap on the sidewalk and steal stuff. Thank you, public education. Thank you, Hollywood. Thank you, churches of what’s-happenin’-now. Turned our culture into a spittoon, haven’t you?

Oh! And thank you, Disney! The biggest culture-killers in the country.

Stay with the red eft, it’s a nice picture.

I still can’t quite believe this story.

Porn Star Gripes: She’s Treated as a Sexual Object

How do we even describe the mental landscape we encounter here? What kind of civilization basks in it, wallows in it, gobbles it up and asks for more?

Why does this remind me of a former neighbor who threw his TV set down the stairs and then said, “Look what happened”?

P.S.–Facebook has just removed this post, saying it violates their standards. I don’t see how.

This Is Not My World

International Horror Film Review: The Killer Snakes (dir by Chih-Hung Kuei) | Through the Shattered Lens

You used to have to go to sleazy movies, on purpose, to get the kind of stuff that nowadays just oozes out of your car radio.

I was on my way to grocery-shop this morning. I turned on my car radio, and this was the first thing that I heard:

“I am an openly gay woman!”

What–are we supposed to stand up and cheer? This is something to be proud of?

And then it moved on to some guy who couldn’t manage sex at all until he took some pill or other… now he can go at it like a hamster.

Welcome to Sleazeworld. Look what we’ve done to our culture. I come from a world, I grew up in a world, where nothing like the above examples was ever heard. How is this world better for indulging such garbage?

This wasn’t brown-paper-bag radio, broadcast out of some drooler’s basement. This was mainstream New York radio.

I would like my world back, please.

Two More Books I Won’t Review

Our cultural landscape looks like this.

Those addled publicists out there just won’t stop pitching books to me that I wouldn’t read, let alone review, if you paid me extra for it.

As usual, I won’t divulge the authors’ names or the titles because I don’t want to give them any free publicity. I only mention them because it troubles me that there is so much dreck out there.

What we read for entertainment, what we watch on a TV or a movie screen, is more than just a way to pass the time. It’s one of the ways we educate ourselves. And all too often we educate ourselves into folly. Or worse.

One of these books is “a paranormal erotic thriller” which might be described as “James Bond meets 50 Shades of Grey,” only in this one James Bond is a woman super-spy who gets off on being dominated by her mysterious dark putz-head of a boss. If you’ve ever wondered why more and more people seem to be getting stupider and stupider, this may give you a clue.

The other is a lot of lesbian tommyrot intended to portray sinful and dysfunctional activities as praiseworthy, even heroic, and totally mainstream. What made that publicist think I would want to read it? But again, here is our entertainment media educating us into folly.

I do not like to try to imagine the mental landscape of anyone who reads books like these one after another and doesn’t see anything wrong with them.

But then I don’t have to imagine it, do I? Our current social and political landscape, which I can’t avoid seeing if I try, leaves nothing to the imagination.
