I haven’t been this sick since I was in knee-pants.
It’s horrible. Everything hurts. No Daddy to scoop me up from bed and sing Sweet Violets. My wife is very worried. I miss my mother coming up the stairs to serve me ginger ale.
What can I do now, but ask for prayers?
And plenty of ’em.
I don’t know how much I can do today, I had a bad night… I am badly out of focus this morning.
I think I ought to take it easy today, if it all possible. Let’s see if I feel any better. Pretend I’m staying home from school.
Well, I did go back to bed, and am slightly the better for it. But then the phone rang: another doctor, another round of tests.
So why this video? Because I feel like a hippo’s chasing me! After the lion, the hippo is the most dangerous animal in Africa. And they are a lot faster than they look. The guys in this video were lucky they had a car.
(Ah! I added some root beer to my iced tea. That’s better.)
Running on empty
I have to go to the doctor this morning, so he can find something alarmingly wrong with me, Robbie needs more medical attention, Patty is freaking out from stress…
I might not be able to do my work today. I might not make it back to the blog at all, once I post the morning hymn.
Please pray for us. We need it.
I was all set to help Byron the Quokka write up his TV listings today; but as you can see, first he fell asleep, then me.
I just can’t stay awake today. Maybe it’s because I hadn’t had any decent sleep since before New Year’s.
Move over, Byron! A quiet nap in the sun–Yes, I want that!
