*Sigh… I want a longer Christmas! I want my family back. I crave some sign that 2024 will be better than this year has been.

No hymn requests this morning, so I have to go with one of my favorites–How Firm a Foundation, performed the old-fashioned way by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band. In our church we used to sing this to the tune of O Come, All Ye Faithful… I don’t know why.
I Think I Ought to Post This: ‘To Be a Pilgrim’
My wife thought she heard me listening to this hymn, this morning. I wasn’t: and yet my stats board showed four hits for it. To Be a Pilgrim, by John Bunyan, sung by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band–yeah, okay, heed the promptings of the Spirit.
I’ve also discovered a version by Joshua and Jeremy. If I get some calls for it, I’ll post that one, too.
