You know you’ve got to retreat in a hurry, as soon as you run into a bunch of  United Nations nincompoops calling themselves “The Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent.”

Yes, these fat-heads say Americans ought to be forced to pay “reparations” for slavery, which ended here over 150 years ago, to persons who were never slaves–paid by, in many cases, people who never owned slaves and whose ancestors came to America after the Civil War.

It’s bad enough we have our home-grown Democrats promoting this unjust and stupid fantasy. But for Citizens Of The World to be doing it on our dime is intolerable.

It would be a very good thing for the United States to drop out of the United Nations now–and kick them out of New York while we’re at it.

They want to punish you for what you didn’t do.

I’ve been holding off writing about “reparations,” because frankly I don’t need a lot of Far Left Crazy morons calling me a racist. But enough is enough already.

Georgetown Looniversity students have voted for a “manadatory reparations fee” to be paid by undergraduates to the “descendants of 272 slaves that Georgetown sold in 1838” (https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=12094). Lemme see… that’d be 181 years ago.

“Reparations” doctrine states that all “white people” are guilty for slavery in America, even 181 years ago, even people whose ancestors weren’t here when slavery was formally and forever ended in 1865. You’re all guilty and you’ve all got to pay!

One–count ’em: one–of my ancestors got off the boat just in time to be sucked into the Union army and shot in the head at Chancellorsville.

I refuse to be punished for slavery.

Besides which, “reparations” is a flagrant violation of the Constitution.

P.S.–Every single one of the 20 Democrat candidates for president has publicly stated his or her support for making you pay for what other people did over 150 years ago.

Vote for a Democrat at your peril.

And now I just can’t take any more news. Basta, basta for today!

The Student Government Assn. at Western Kentucky University has passed a resolution that free college tuition ought to be given to “black” students–I put “black” in quotes because they don’t define the term–as reparations for slavery, which ended 150 years ago ( https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/kentucky/articles/2017-04-21/wku-student-government-calls-for-free-tuition-as-reparations ).

And by the way–what kind of reward is a college “education” that blows four or five years of your life to give you a bachelor’s degree in Nothing Studies?

Don’t you just love liberals? They give away other people’s hard-earned money so they can feel good about themselves. You don’t see them ponying up any of their own money.

Maybe I ought to demand reparations from Italy: the Romans enslaved my ancestors. With the interest accruing over 2,000 years, that ought to be a pretty hefty wad of dough.

Another thing that makes liberals feel righteous is stirring up strife among people who would otherwise be at peace with one another. The last thing they want is racial harmony. It would be a calamity for them.

Anyway, there you have it–more proof that America has too many colleges and universities, with way too many people in them, way too much money poured into it, and no longer serves any constructive purpose whatsoever.

Cut the funding now. These ninnies on the WKU Student Government panel need to be out in the real world, working and trying to support themselves. It might teach them a thing or two about cavalierly slinging around other people’s money to indulge a political delusion.

The United Nations Working Group of Experts–gee, we already know this is going to be really stupid and pompous–on People of African Descent has urged the United States to pay “reparations” to American blacks for the slavery that was allowed here over 150 years ago ( https://www.rt.com/usa/330934-un-recommends-usa-reparations-slavery/ ).

Nope, it ain’t enough we’ve already paid trillions of dollars for welfare, assorted anti-poverty programs, food stamps, midnight basketball, and what have you, and none of it prevented Democrat cities like Detroit and Camden from turning into urban badlands. The UN thinks we have to pay more. Much more: “full implementation of special programs” including strict gun control and “environmental rights,” whatever the sod those may be.

Well, OK, O citizens of the world, we can dig it! But where do you get off, assigning a 19th-century cutoff date to compensation for the injustices of history? And we didn’t hear anything about Turkey paying reparations to Armenians, did we?

My ancestors were oppressed and enslaved by the Roman Empire, and I think I ought to be paid off for that. By Italy, I guess. And did you say anything about China paying reparations to the Tibetans? Musta just slipped your minds…

The real question is, Why must American taxpayers continue to subsidize the United Nations?

I think we all deserve reparations for having had to put up with that for all these years.
