How does this even begin to happen? We’ve seen hens trying to hatch ping-pong balls–but kittens? They aren’t even orphans, their mother only stepped out for a minute.
Maybe the Peaceable Kingdom is closer than we think.

Parrots, ‘Keets, & Cats
The cats in this video could easily wipe out the birds who seem to be bugging them–and yet they don’t. There’s that Peaceable Kingdom again!
My favorite is the cockatiel who won’t let the pesky human wake the snoozing cat. Would the cat do the same for the bird?
Dog & Deer–Best Friends
This is crazy–in a completely wonderful way. A golden retriever and a doe are best friends–and have been for 11 years running. So much for “nature red with tooth and claw.” The dog loves the doe’s fawns, too. Each year there are new fawns to love.
God shows us these odd things for a reason. I think He’s reminding us that there is a Peaceable Kingdom to be gained.
