‘Can Anybody Really Be This Ignorant?’ (2018)

There’s been a lot of talk lately about weeding out from the Internet all “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and “malinformation,” leaving only pristine Truth.

(Note that they have nothing against “maleducation.” They have black belts in that.)

This from the “your truth, my truth” crowd, who also say there’s no objective truth at all, reality isn’t real, there is no God, no judgment… Aaah! You could tear your hair out.

Can Anybody Really Be This Ignorant?

So I suppose that after a few more years of the Deep State leaning on Big Tech and the two of them climbing into bed together, we won’t be seeing any more pictures of gigantic snapping turtles twenty times normal size, adult humans swallowed whole by giant snakes, Bigfoot, The Paranormal–

Akh! Gotta wash my brain out!

The only way these people are ever going to cast out “misinformation” is by completely silencing themselves. And for heaven’s sake, keep them away from a keyboard!

Mad Scientists: When the Scientist Becomes the Subject - Endocrine News

I’m still finding it hard to concentrate long enough to produce anything like a Newswithviews column. Maybe next week, I pray.

Meanwhile, here’s one from 2018 (Good grief! Was that really five years ago? Where does the time go?)

The science catechism

If you’re gonna study computer models instead of reality, and sit like pirates’ parrots on the shoulders of statist politicians, and swoon with admiration whenever you look in the mirror–

Well, you can at least feel like a scientist.
