Phoebe asked for this one, and indeed it just wouldn’t seem right to have Christmas without the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. And let’s go first-class, with the Royal Choral Society at the Albert Hall.
And how they manage to put all these elements together into a flawless work of art… well, I can only stand in awe.
This one is always good to hear, no matter how often we hear it. Great singing.
Gorgeous, just gorgeous. What a genius Handel was.
I have to stand to listen to this one. And how about playing “Unto Us A Child Is Born” from the Messiah.
Again, tomorrow–I’m busy at my book this afternoon.
I couldn’t find anything about the Salvation Army backing off CRT.
Glorious song!
