You may have already seen some of these clips in other compilations, but oh, well, I still haven’t figured out why that grey cat wants to go to war against his own tail. He must be college-educated.
I know I’ve posted this video before, and I promise to go back and find a fresh one for you–but it’s so freakin’ funny! Watch what the dog does after the cat pokes him on the butt. Then you can try to explain it.
I’ve never owned dogs and cats at the same time. Some of these videos make me wish I had.
Note that this are mostly adult cats playing with puppies. How do they know to be so gentle? I mean, the puppy wouldn’t know–right? So it’s up to the grownup cat to set the tone. And they know just how to do it. Very smart!
Actually you need at least ten of something before you can decimate it, and we haven’t got but one pit bull; but I have always wanted to use that word in a headline, and now seemed as good a time as any.
Who knows why some dogs have this overpowering urge to sit on cats? I mean, they might get scratched or bitten in a tender spot… It cannot be said that cats appreciate this gesture.
For the sake of being fair and balanced, this video also presents a few cats who like to sit on dogs.
We are shown no animals that like to sit on porcupines.
Our friend “optimal play” posted this on my chess page today, and I thought it might give you a chuckle. Some of these clips have appeared in other compilations, so you might have seen them before–but they’re still funny.
What do these dogs know about these cats that we don’t know? Or is it something that they only think they know?

It’s a wise cat who prudently teaches a puppy who’s boss. Some pups learn faster than others. And some cats teach better than others. But woe unto the cat who stinks at this!
Gee, it’s been a long time since I’ve been mobbed by a whole litter of puppies… But I think humans like that better than cats do.
I wonder how a reasonably intelligent person from the 10th century would respond to some of today’s hi-tech toys. Do all cats and dogs go wild over iPads, or is it just a few? And how long do you get to torment the lizard with fake bugs before he turns around and bites you?
Ah, well–as paratroopers used to say, it’s foolish but it’s fun.
