Requested by Ina: I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing.
This is a rather unusual rendition by The Fisherman’s Friends, and I don’t know quite what to make of it. I might wind up liking it.

Requested by Teddy, Angels from the Realms of Glory. I don’t know who these performers are, but whoever they are, may God bless them for their work. This is a carol you can go to town on!
I’m happy to say we’ve got more carols coming in.
Requested by Erlene: a new way to sing The 12 Days of Christmas, adapted by Carroll Roberson–“Jesus Gave to Me.”
And we have another one coming right up.
Just to encourage reader response, mind you, I offer Pat-a-Pan by the Stairwell Carollers, Ottawa… singing it in French. This was on the Christmas program for our 7th Grade Chorus, back in the Bronze Age.
It would be nice to see our Christmas Carol Contest heat up down the stretch.

Is it too late in the day to start a cyber-Christmas party? You’re all invited. Bring whatever snacks and games you like. I’m waking up now, and I’d love to get up a game of Monopoly. Or clue. Or both at the same time!
I know, I know–we’re all very busy lately. But the year is drawing to a close, and I think we ought to set aside some time to appreciate each other. What would we do without family and friends?
Home-made peanut butter cookies, anyone?
Requested by Katheleen, and I’d have been sorry for Christmas Day to go by without it–Joy to the World, sung by the Libera Boys Choir at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Armagh, Ireland.
(I wonder how many churches and cathedrals in Ireland are named for St. Patrick.)
Again, everybody, Merry Christmas!
Requested by Thewhiterabbit, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day–and listen to the lyrics. God does not sleep, He cannot fail. He will carry out His work of peace and righteousness… and He will heal us.
Sung by Johnny Cash.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
I’m surprised no one requested this in the carol contest, and I could hardly let Christmas pass without it, so here it is–the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s The Messiah. And now you know what it looks like inside the Sydney Opera House.

(Who said “Shoulda stayed lost!”?)
Ha, ha, I got most of our Christmas stuff done over the last three days, so today I can rest! I might as well; I’m really tired.
But–! Here’s the episode of Oy, Rodney that had critics’ pants in a knot.
Some deny that Violet Crepuscular ever wrote this. She does not deny it. “I’m the Queen of Suspense! I don’t have to remember things!” she exfoliates.
[This is as far as I go today, amigos. I am pooped. We’ll have our cyber-party here tomorrow, and you’re all invited. Bring incredibly expensive snacks!]
Here’s another one requested by Michele Dumas (well, I did say request as many as you please): God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, performed a capella by Pentatonix.
