In 2016 math was too hard for, er, students at Wayne State, Detroit–so Educators replaced math with Diversity Studies.

“Diversity Studies? What’s Diversity Studies?”

It’s a joke, matey, and the joke’s on you! Even if you’re not paying tuition for a totally worthless diploma, eventually you’ll have to pay, along with all the rest of the country. Oh, yeah, America’s gonna pay for this. Tens of thousands of embittered, ignorant, unemployable ex-college students clogging up the economy and getting into trouble–yeah, we’ll pay for that.

We can always hope that at least a chunk of our higher education system won’t survive the Chinese Death Virus crisis. Hope and pray.

A Millenial Want Ad

Here is a classified ad taken from today’s Stunata Falls Gazette:

“WORK WANTED: New college grad, 29, BA in Diversity Studies, seeks high-paying no-show job with top firm. Willing to work an hour or two a day on special occasions. Full benefits and early retirement, with lavish pension, a must. Snap me up before someone else does!”

A question I was asking myself today:

Why is “diversity” such a good thing, that must be actively pursued as an end in itself? In fact, given the nature of living things, is it ever possible not to have diversity?

Why do the smartest people in the world talk such claptrap all the time?

Well, looks like math is just too hard for today’s collidge stoodints; so Wayne State U., in Detroit (where else?), is going to fix that problem.

Wayne State will replace math courses with–trumpet fanfare, please: plus barf bags–Diversity Studies! ( http://hotair.com/archives/2016/06/19/one-university-moves-to-drop-their-math-requirement-and-guess-what-theyll-replaced-it-with/ )

Gee, what’s Diversity Studies? What in tarnation is that?

It’s just another way to collect students’ tuition money and give them nothing in return. Just another way to keep ’em dumb and make ’em dumber. Just another way to undermine the country.

Confound it, I’ve already written and submitted my News With Views column for this week. It’s about our wonderful collidges. Wish I’d had this tip a little sooner.

Oh, well… No one can possibly keep up with this. The march of folly is in high, high gear.
