NPR Race-Obsesses Over… Emojis

These are the world's top 5 most popular emojis - NBC2 News

National Public Radio, funded by the defenseless American taxpayer because Congress doesn’t have the decency to cut off the money, is now race-obsessing over… yes, we said emojis (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/npr-ignored-hunter-biden-but-sent-three-reporters-to-investigate-how-the-thumbs-up-emojis-is-racist).

NPR last week “reported” (a verb that makes you laugh) that “some academics” (oh, boy) find that the default yellow emojis are some kind of secret code for “white privilege,” blah-blah. [For most white people, the only “privilege” they have is being blamed for everything and expected to pay for everything.] I wonder who “some academics” are.

Emojis are little cartoons, you idiots. They liven up the text. They are not a plot to bring back slavery.

Honk if you think race-obsessing white liberals are mentally ill and need to be confined somewhere.

A Neighborhood Feud

A woman in Manhattan Beach, California, has been accused of painting emojis on her house just to spite her neighbors; but she says it’s to cheer up the neighborhood.

Supposedly her neighbors reported her for renting the house, which the rules in that area say you can’t do, and she wound up being hit with a $4,000 fine. She then painted the emojis (https://www.insideedition.com/did-woman-paint-emojis-house-get-revenge-after-neighbors-reported-her-55106).

I think it looks kind of nice, but the neighbors say they’ll sue her if they can’t get the town to force her to get rid of the emojis.

Lighten up, folks.

But at least it’s not the Hatfields and McCoys.

College Crapola du Jour

Boy, I wish this was a satire… but it isn’t. It’s, well–real.

Colorado State University, in its social media guide for students–really? They really need the college to “guide” them in using social media?–advises students to “Avoid gendered emojis when possible” and to “use inclusive pronouns,” no “he” or “she” allowed (https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/10/colorado-state-university-avoid-gendered-emojis-to-be-more-inclusive/).

Why?

Why, “to be more inclusive,” of course! You become “more inclusive” by pretending men and women don’t exist. There’s just this featureless mish-mosh, some bubbling culture v at in which every aspect of every person’s individuality, for the sake of “diversity” and “inclusion,” is erased.

Our colleges and looniversities are putting a whole new spin on the old image of the college as being in loco parentis–with the accent on the “loco.” This is root-grubbing, wall-climbing, rug-chewing crazy.

There can be but one response to this:

Oh–and after that, defund the colleges.
