Church Decides to Dishonor George Washington

The Church of This World, once attended by President George Washington, who helped found it, has decided to remove a plaque honoring the father of our country (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5027503/George-Washington-s-church-remove-plaque-honoring-him.html). The plaque has been there since 1870 and now, suddenly, it’s a problem.

Actually it’s called Christ Church, but I believe in truth in advertising. A church that bows and sways to worldly politics, and rejects its own past in order to curry favor with whoever happens to be top dog today, does not deserve to be called by Christ’s name. Let them be called after the prince of this world, from whom they receive their reward.

Why did they have to get rid of Washington’s plaque? Let them tell it: “The plaque in our sanctuary makes some in our presence feel unsafe and unwelcome.”

Unsafe? Like, George Washington’s gonna jump out from under the pew and drag them off in chains? What bunk. What miserable, pathetic, this-worldly bunk.

As usual, the liberal churches are right in line with those who wish to erase Christianity from America.

These leftids who smear our country’s founders and hate our history, who would shred the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, who worship no god but themselves, which is just how Satan wants it–what would they put in America’s place? We see what they want to take away. What would they put in its place?

God grant that we never have to find out.

May the Lord rebuke them–but good.

Why I Cover the Leftids

Believe me, I don’t do it for my health.

If the history of the 20th century, half of which took place before my own eyes, teaches us anything, it teaches us this: that depraved, warped individuals can acquire political power, and that their depraved, criminally insane ideas can be–and sometimes are–actually put into practice. The result is disaster, sometimes on a global scale. A little number called World War II springs to mind.

I have seen what happens to some liberals’ faces when you dare to disagree with one of their pet crochets. If looks could kill, you’d be dead. In the 21st century, we really did have Attorney General Loretta “Tarmac” Lynch huddling with Democrat senators to discuss ways to throw you into prison for the “crime” of Climate Change Denial. We are starting to hear that sort of leftid hysteria in conjunction with Hurricane Irma. It’s Mother Nature punishing Trump voters for not believing in Man-Made Global Warming. And a leftid commented last night: all Climate Change Deniers “deserve to die in jail!” You can bet the house he’d put us there, if he could.

I write about these people because I think they’re dangerous. If you don’t think Antifa thugs are dangerous, you need to think some more.

Now the leftids’ greatest source of strength is the perception that they’re Smart, much smarter than the average peasant. They certainly believe it. The media consistently portray them as the nation’s brain trust. And it’s a shame, but an awful lot of people have fallen for that line of hogwash. “Well, I mean, he’s a college professor/scientist/U.S. Senator/movie star/celebrity–he must know what he’s talkin’ about!”

I do what I can to expose these aspiring dictators as big-mouthed buffoons–which indeed most of them are. They say they’re too smart to believe in God, but embrace the most benighted, shabby forms of paganism and superstition. Many of them can’t even define or explain the things they say they do believe in. But there are smarter ones behind them, pulling their strings.

If they ever lose that mask of intellectual superiority, they’ll pretty much lose everything. I pray the Lord will strengthen all of us who try to take away that mask.

True, some of their peculiar follies really do rate belly-laughs, and we can’t be blamed for laughing at them.

But behind it all stands evil.

Behind it all stands Satan.

You and Your Past Lives

I don’t know why these publicists think I’d be one to review their clients’ books. Do they think I’ll live forever? I mean, I’ve got limited time on this planet, and I can’t waste it reading about “Discovering Your True Nature Across Multiple Lifetimes.”

But Lee! It’s be a certified past life regression therapist! Certified by whom? How do you get certified to do past lives regression when there’s no such thing as past lives? It is given to man once to die, but then after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). So sorry, I can’t play past lives with you unless I abandon Jesus Christ.

But there’s evidence! Hey, honest–it’s been on TV! Oh, well, if it’s been on TV–! Actually, it’s rather insulting to be offered that line of argument. It has put me in a bad mood.

But it really, really works! F’r’instance, “a prior personality who was very effective in business may help me with a current management program.” Yeah–and what if all your past lives belonged to fools and reprobates?

And this is mostly from people who turn up their noses at the Bible! Oh, that’s all just made-up stories! But this past lives booshwa, man, that’s real!

Lord, I’m ready to wake up now. Can I please wake up now?
