Is This a Pedophilia Movie?

(Thanks to Linda for the news tip)

Show Dogs is a PG-rated “family comedy” which has a lot of people calling it a kind of promo for pedophilia. It’s one of those movies starring nobody I ever heard of, or particularly want to hear of, with the voice of rap star “Ludicris” plugged into a Rottweiler. The Rottweiler is an undercover K-9 cop, and he and his human handler have to infiltrate a dog show so they can bust an animal smuggling ring. All the dogs and other critters are given human voice-overs. If you care for that sort of thing.

The trouble is with a scene in which the Rottweiler must submit to the dog show judges fondling his genitals: we are told this is standard practice in dog shows. Max the Rottweiler doesn’t enjoy this. His human handler tells him to relax and enjoy it. Some viewers see in this a kind of commercial for pedophilia, pitched at children in the audience.

I posted the trailer because it shows another attempt by movie-makers to get a laugh: a scene of Max farting in his bath. Bubble, bubble. To me this suggests that the film relies on the sort of  bathroom humor that we all hope our children will grow out of. Let me be charitable, and put the fondling scene down to heartfelt stupidity rather than to any sinister intent. It seems to be what makes this movie tick, if you call this ticking.

If they’re not trying “to groom children” for pedophiles, they are certainly trying (and succeeding) to celebrate real brainlessness.

Walk a mile out of your way to avoid this one.

‘A Pedophile, but Not a Monster’ (2015)

Remember this strange story? Here’s this person suffering because he has a powerful urge to commit pedophilia, but because he knows it’s wrong, he has resisted–well, who is not tempted to sin, in this way or that? Even Our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted, yet without sin.

P.S.–Don’t worry, I’m not just going to run up old stuff today. I’m just getting warmed up. Tomorrow is the oral surgeon, and I have to be prepared to be unable to write anything at all, after that.

Grade School ‘Hotties’? And a Prayer Request

If you really want to see images from this fashion show, click the link to the news article. As for me, I prefer this photo of a mother duck with ducklings.

If you’ve been wondering why God is mad at our country, and so allows it to be lorded over by thieves, liars, and idiots, here’s a news story that may give us a hint.

A recent fashion show in Florida featured “primary school children”–that is, little girls, as you can see by the pictures–modeling bikinis ( https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/1459275/would-you-let-your-kids-do-this-fashion-brand-divides-internet-after-allowing-child-models-to-walk-the-runway-in-bikinis/ ).

Before you conclude, as a normal person might, that the little girls just look cute in their bikinis, and it’s not an effort to present them as sex objects, remember that the brand name of this swimwear is “Hot as Hell.” That sort of gives the game away, don’t you think?

Well, our culture-killers are looking for the next big thing to plug in, once the transgender stuff has run its course, and it would hardly be a surprise if they turned to pedophilia. There are academics–most notably at Temple University, Bruce Rind et al–who have been working for years to make this happen.

This is why I publish hymns and prayer requests, here on this blog. We can’t match the culture-killers in money, power, or influence. But our God is an awesome God, and we have faith that He will hear us.

Prayer Request: O Lord Our God, send thy hand from above, exert your strength on our poor country, and pull us out of this pit of sin and folly into which we have allowed false prophets and blind guides to lead us. In Jesus’ name, amen!

A Pedophile, but not a Monster?

There is an extraordinary article out there on Salon.com by a self-confessed pedophile ( http://www.salon.com/2015/09/21/im_a_pedophile_but_not_a_monster/ ). I have just read it.

Presuming that everything he says in the article is true–and I’ve been given as yet no reason to doubt it–then what we have here is a suffering soul who has not, in fact, done anything wrong. He suffers from the temptation to commit a terrible sin. He has not given in to it. (Again, I’m assuming he has told the truth.) We have all been tempted to a wide assortment of sins. Even Our Lord Jesus Christ suffered temptation (Hebrews 2:18). There is no reason to deny this man our sympathy and fellowship.

Nevertheless…

You see, we have been here before. It always starts with a sob story–the back-alley abortion with the coat hanger, the poor inoffensive homosexual who just wants to live his life without being persecuted. And the next thing you know, we’ve got 50 million aborted babies, with Planned Parenthood “harvesting” their organs while they’re still alive, and organized sodomy with its pals in government crushing and destroying anyone who doesn’t bow down and “celebrate” the moral supremacy of homosexuality.

We’ve been here before, and shame on us if we allow ourselves to be brought here again.
